Types of Canvas Frames
Here are the various types of canvas frames you can order:
Canvas Prints: Your image is transformed into a single frame, the standard and most traditional option.
Canvas Wall Display: Construct a collage of photos and memories with layouts ranging from 2 to 5 frames. Perfect for adorning a sizable wall with cherished moments.
Split Canvas Prints: Break your image or artwork into blocks or panels, offering a stylish and artistic appearance.
Construction
Discover the craftsmanship behind our canvas frames, comprising two essential components: the Frame and the Print.
Frame: Crafted from premium pine wood, our frames vary in thickness from 0.75 inches to 2 inches, depending on size of the frame. Each piece undergoes precise 45-degree cuts before being expertly joined to form the frame.
Print: Utilising high-resolution printing equipment, we print your image onto a canvas fabric specially coated to deliver ideal print results. This fabric is then stretched over the pine wood frame and securely fixed, resulting in a stunning canvas frame.
Thickness
The thickness of our canvas frames varies from 0.75” to 2”, tailored to suit the size of each frame. Larger frames demand greater thickness to ensure stability. Our production team has developed precise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through rigorous break and bend testing to determine the optimal frame thickness. These guidelines are adhered to meticulously for every order we fulfil.
Edge Design
Choose from three edge design options for your canvas frame:
Folded: In this method, the image extends and folds over the sides of the frame. While some parts of the image may be cut, this is the most commonly used technique.
Mirrored: The edge is covered using a mirrored version of the uploaded image, ideal for preserving critical details you don't want to be cut off.
Black/White: The edge area is printed in either black or white, offering a clean and classic finish.
Image Effects
You can also enhance your uploaded image with a selection of effects:
Original: Your image is printed exactly as uploaded.
B&W: Your image is transformed into a timeless black and white effect before printing.
Sepia: Your image takes on a nostalgic 80s and 90s vibe with the sepia effect before being printed.
